The 7th International Film Festival Manhattan is celebrating Filipino American Heritage Month this October with a Spotlight on Filipino Films and Filipino Filmmakers.

The Festival Director of IFFM, Luis Pedron, was asked why showcase a lot of Pinoy films again this year?

“The Philippines spews numerous films that do well at Festivals and I do think IFFM should do it’s part in showing how great our Pinoy filmmakers are. I am proud of our fellow Pinoy artists! Mabuhay ang Pelikulang Filipino!”

We are honoring Christopher de Leon (Actor - Philippines) and Fernando Mendez (Event Producer - USA) as the IFFM Lifetime Achievement Awardee.

Our Awards Night and Screening of “Across the Cresent Moon” starring Christopher de Leon will be held on Oct. 18, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Kalayaan Hall, Philippine Center (556 5th Avenue) in New York.

The Regular film festival screenings will be held from Oct. 19 to 22, 2017 at the Producers Club (358 West  44th Street) in New York.
