NOW that the celebration on the 25th anniversary of People Power Revolution is over, let’s hope that the end-goals of this often-referred to as “unfinished revolution” would be eventually achieved.

WHILE Filipinos observe the 25th anniversary of People Power Revolution this week, people in the monarchic countries of Yemen, Bahrain and Libya are staging their own brand of people power revolution against their rulers.

IF I were to sum up Consul General Cecilia B. Rebong’s seven-year stint in New York, I would say her entire term has been friendly, fruitful, involved and responsive to the needs of Filipinos in her jurisdiction.
