Some 60 Catholic priests from Bohol currently assigned in different parishes around the U.S., Canada and Davao, and five archbishops from various archdioceses in Visayas and Mindanao and one from New York, held their biennial reunion in this here in New York from July 27-29, 2016.
The gathering was hosted by Boholano Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Permanent Representative of Holy See to the United Nations.
Among the group’s activities were a tour of the United Nations and the city, mass at the Holy Family Church near the UN and at Our Lady of Pompeii Church in Downtown Manhattan, “Fiesta Sa Nayon” with the Filipino-American community in New York and New Jersey, and fellowship with Couples for Christ ANCOP USA.
