MANILA — After 15 years behind bars, Hubert Webb and six others convicted for the sensational Vizconde massacre in 1991 walked out of prison on Dec. 14 after being cleared by the Supreme Court (SC).

MANILA — A year after the Maguindanao massacre, nobody has yet been convicted for the gruesome crime.

The trial against the 196 accused has barely begun. And while some of the suspects belonging to the Ampatuan clan have already been arrested, only one of them — the principal accused Andal Ampatuan Jr. — has been arraigned.
