Ronald McDonald House Charities of the New York Tri-State Area (RMHC-NYTSA) is now accepting applications for the 2015 RMHC/ASIA (Asian Students Increasing Achievement) Scholarship Program, the largest scholarship offered to Asian students from the New York tri-state area.

The scholarships are distributed based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement.

Now in its 15th year, the program has awarded over $1.5 million to date.

“The RMHC/ASIA Scholarship Program is committed to helping Asian-American students in financial need to achieve their dreams of a higher education,” said Christopher Perry, executive director of RMHC-NYTSA.

“Our scholarship prides itself on looking beyond just academic achievement and recognizing young men and women who are also serving and empowering their communities.”
