JERSEY CITY — Helen Castillo (pictured above), program assistant at New Jersey City University (NJCU) and longtime leader and advocate in the Filipino-American community, has been selected to receive the 2018 NJCU Stars Employee Recognition Award for Community Service.

(UPAA-NJ), a registered 50(c)(3) non-profit organization, has named three Distinguished UP Alumni who will be recognized and honored at its biennial General Assembly and Holiday Party on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin, N.J.
